George was employed as a sacking weaver. 1860- July 20th, 9:00 pm George Slane at 31 Butchers Row. Parents were George and Margaret Still. George is employed as a sheeting weaver, Margaret was a Housekeeper. 1863- April 5th, 3:00 am, Mary Slane is born at Urquhart Street, (Scouringburn) Dundee. Parents were George and Margaret Still. 1865- September 1st, 7:00 pm, Margaret Slane is born at Montrose. Parents were George and Margaret Still. George was employed as a Floor Cloth Weaver and Margaret a Housekeeper.
1867- April 25th, 2:00 pm, Death of Ann Slane, first wife of George. DEATH CERTIFICATE
